Rammy peg back Robins

Something of a game of two halves saw the hosts turn around a two-goal interval deficit with 2 strikes of their own after the break at the Harry Williams Riverside Stadium.

John Pritchard saw an accurate free-kick tipped over after 4 minutes and the resulting corner saw a trialist fire home the loose ball to give the visitors the lead. A break by former Reds winger Nic Evangelinos saw him try his luck from 30 yards firing straight at Worsnop and Hunt then sliced a clearance onto the top of the crossbar and from the corner kick trialist 7 brought a sharp save out of Worsnop and Liam Tomsett then got goal side of the left-back who brought him down for a penalty comfortably struck home by Josh Wilson.

Immediately after the restart trialist 10 outpaced Pritchard into the area with Evangelinos pulling one back from the spot and trialist 18 just missed Pritchard’s fine left-wing cross. Evangelinos’ hanging cross then saw the centre forward make insufficient contact and with 20 minutes left the left back’s cross was dropped by Worsnop to trialist 10 who made space before firing home the equaliser.

Team; Worsnop, Harrison, Havern, Hunt, Rowney, Sheridan, Pritchard, Trialist, Wilson, Tomsett. Subs: Crowther, Chalmers Anghel, Hughes, Cottam and 3 trialists.
