Ashton United vs Grantham Town
Tomorrow The Robins are travelling away from Hursts Cross again, this time to Trent Road in Grantham to face Grantham Town in an attempt to get another 3 points in the Northern Premier League.
Grantham is located 43 miles East of Nottingham and play their home games at The South Kesteven Stadium, which is also home to Grantham Athletics club. Having played two more games than Ashton, the side are currently 6th in the League table with 16 points.
Grantham come into tomorrow’s match after a strong 4-0 win to Radcliffe Borough so will be a tough opponent for The Robins to get three points out of.
Ashton are currently 18th in the league table with 6 points after 8 games played and after a thrilling 3-3 draw at Hyde.
The Robins will have to make do without Aaron Smith, who is still suspended from when Ashton played Pontefract in the FA Cup. They are also missing Jonathan Hunt who is serving a suspension after accumulating too many yellow cards, it will be interesting to see what starting line-up Jodi selects to face an in-form Grantham.
Kick-off for tomorrow’s game is at 19:45.
