Ashton United welcome Radcliffe Borough to Hurst cross on Saturday as a new era begins at the club.
Our new manager Micheal Clegg will not be in charge for the game however, Josh Wilson will take interim charge.
Clegg has left his role at Atherton Collieries where he won two cups alongside three league titles.
Clegg has brought the club to the highest it has ever been in terms of league positioning taking them from the tenth tier of English football to the seventh.
Radcliffe head into the clash in stupendous form with Boro chasing a 6th straight league win. This fantastic form has seen Radcliffe propel themselves to 7th in the table and also second in the league form table with Boro accumulating 15 points from their last 6 games. Radcliffe’s last game was an impressive 3-0 home win against high flyers Basford United.
On the other hand, the Robins come into the game in a slump of form with the club on a three-game losing streak. The Robins will also be looking to bounce back after last Saturday’s 4-0 defeat at home against Nantwich.
However, the squad will be hoping to get back to winning ways this weekend and show new boss Micheal Clegg what they have to offer.
Come down to Hurst Cross on Saturday to cheer the lads on against Radcliffe Borough and remember if you cannot make it down that Ashton provide the best live commentary around to bring you all the live-action.
