Manager Michael Clegg has confirmed that Millenic Alli, John Pritchard, Jake Cotrell and Louis Almond have left Ashton United.
Alli scored twice in thirteen appearances for the Robins last season and has left the club.
Michael Clegg on Millenic Alli’s departure:
“We are absolutely delighted to play a part in Milli’s progress. It was evident to see last season that he has all the ingredients to go higher. He goes with our best wishes”
Left-back John Pritchard has also left Hurst Cross after two seasons with the club.
Michael Clegg on John Pritchard’s departure:
“We are extremely disappointed to lose JP. A player with who I had a great relationship with and I wish nothing but the best for. Unfortunately, we agreed on a deal 3/4 weeks ago, then when he came to sign that last Tuesday, he wasn’t happy with the terms. So it was then we withdrew that offer and agreed it would be best for him to have a fresh start elsewhere. I think sometimes the deal has to be right for the club and we couldn’t have gone any higher. It’s as simple as that really. He will be missed by us all.”
Jake Cotrell and Louis Almond have also left Ashton United.
Ashton United would like to thank all the players who have left the club and wish them all the best in their future endeavours.
